As a Seattle wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing some truly special moments on a couple’s big day. But one of my all-time favorite weddings was that of Brenda and Hugo.
The ceremony took place at Song River Monroe, a beautiful venue just outside of Seattle. But what made this wedding stand out was the first look and couples photo session we were able to do on a nearby farm. The farm belonged to a family friend of the couple, and they graciously allowed us to use their property for the photo shoot.
But the real icing on the cake was the presence of Divine, a showhorse at the farm ? . Brenda and Hugo are horse lovers, so being able to incorporate Divine into their photos was a real treat. The photos of the couple with Divine are some of my favorites from the day — the love and joy on their faces is truly contagious.
The wedding ceremony itself was filled with laughter and love. There was a fun Hispanic tradition called la víbora de la mar, where guests try to knock the bride and groom off of their chairs. It was a lively and unique moment that I was able to capture.
Overall, Brenda and Hugo’s wedding was an absolute joy to be a part of. From the intimate first look on the farm to the fun and energetic reception, it was a wedding that I will always remember fondly. If you’re looking for a Seattle wedding photographer who can capture the unique, special moments of your big day, look no further. I’d love to be a part of your love story.
