Leah & Nick’s wedding on the MV Skansonia was amazing. In June, you can never 100% count on the weather, and although we got some light rain in the morning, it all cleared up a few hours before the ceremony. *Sigh of relief* Being a wedding photographer in Seattle can be a little stressful when you’re fighting the rain 🙂

The couple got ready in the bridal and groom suites, respectively, which are on the upper decks of the retired 1928 ferry boat. The first look was on the lower level, as was most of the festivities of the day. The Skansonia is such a lovely venue because of those dual decks — photos and videos turn out amazingly well. The halls of the boat can sometimes be a little tight, so that’s something to account for.
