Romantic Forested Wedding | Larkin Place, Olympia WA

Alaina and Brendan’s Wedding at Larkin Place in Olympia was stunning.

Larkin Place in Olympia, WA did not disappoint. Nestled in a secluded forest, this private campground offered the perfect mix of rustic charm and natural beauty for Alaina and Brendan’s special day.

From the moment I arrived at the venue, I was struck by its beauty. The tall trees, lush greenery, and natural surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s wedding. And the couple’s color palette of greens, blues, grays, and metallics perfectly complemented the natural surroundings of the venue.

The ceremony took place in a secluded forest clearing, where the couple exchanged their vows under a beautiful wooden arch, decorated with delicate white flowers and greenery. The ceremony site was also adorned with lanterns and framed pictures, adding a personal touch to the space. After the ceremony, guests were treated to welcome cocktails at the ceremony site, allowing them to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

The reception was held in one of the venue’s open-air spaces, where the couple’s attention to detail was on full display. The reception tables were adorned with stunning centerpieces, featuring a mix of greenery, florals, and metallic accents. The lounge and games space, complete with cozy couches and board games, provided a fun and relaxed atmosphere for guests to enjoy. And let’s not forget about the beanbag toss game. It was a hit with all the drunk uncles.

But the highlight of the venue had to be the treehouse, where the groom got ready. The treehouse offered a unique and intimate setting, and the photos we were able to capture there were truly special. I mean, who doesn’t love a good treehouse moment?

As the night went on, the party really got started on the dance floor, where the couple and their guests danced the night away. And at the end of the night, guests were able to leave their well wishes for the newlyweds in a polaroid guest book, adding a fun and personal touch to the reception.

Alaina and Brendan’s wedding at Larkin Place was a truly stunning event. The venue’s natural beauty and rustic charm provided the perfect setting for the couple’s special day. As a wedding photographer, I feel lucky to have been able to capture the love and joy of this beautiful couple at such a unique and beautiful venue. And can we just take a moment to appreciate how cute those tree houses were? I’m a big fan.

After the wedding, the guests were able to camp here the next day and not have to worry about a thing. This venue has it all — treehouses for getting ready, open-air spaces for the reception, a forest for a gorgeous ceremony, and so much more.

I can’t wait to be back.
