Elena & Blake had their stunning wedding day at Rein Fire Ranch in Ravensdale, WA.
Despite the sweltering heat, they managed to have a gorgeous ceremony at this rustic and picturesque venue. The air conditioning indoors was a lifesaver!
Here are some tips for having a successful wedding in the hot sun:
- Make sure to have plenty of water available for all your guests and vendors. Dehydration is no joke, and it’s important to keep everyone hydrated during the hot weather.
- Try to maximize time spent in the shade or indoors with air conditioning. This will help keep everyone cool and comfortable during the ceremony and reception.
- Keep your flowers fresh by keeping them in water for as long as possible before taking them outside. This will help them last longer and look their best.
- If you’re a bride planning to wear a wedding dress, consider wearing a pair of spanx-type shorts with pockets underneath. Make sure they have pockets, and put ice packs in them! This will help keep you cool and comfortable during the ceremony.
Despite the sweltering heat, they managed to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, followed by a reception in the barn on the property. The air conditioning indoors was a lifesaver, and the couple and their guests were able to enjoy a comfortable and memorable day.
One highlight of the day was the beer mule during cocktail hour. The beer mule, Petunia, was a hit with guests and added to the laid-back, country atmosphere of the venue. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their two shades of green, Eucalyptus and Agave, and complemented the bride’s elegant white dress perfectly.
The bride and groom were able to sneak away for a few moments during the reception to enjoy the tree tunnel on the property, which provided a peaceful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the day.
The reception was held in the barn on the property, and was decorated with a mix of rustic and elegant touches. String lights and candles added a romantic ambiance, while wooden farm tables and hay bales on the property added a country feel. The couple and their guests enjoyed a delicious meal, and the bride and groom shared a heartfelt first dance.
Altogether, the wedding was a beautiful and memorable occasion, enjoyed by the couple and their approximately 175 guests. The venue, the couple, and the guests all contributed to making it a truly special day.
This was definitely one of my favorite weddings from the entire season so far. The venue was gorgeous, the lighting was angelic, and the couple. OMG the couple! See for yourself:
